Larry's Running Blog

A rambling commentary on my running and a log of what I've been up to with my training. It, hopefully, will show my progress and improvements towards my running goals and enjoyment of keeping myself fit and healthy.

My quads are sore from the downhills on Sunday but apart from that feel fine now. I am going to have a massage tonight and that will make them feel much better.
I do have a weeny little problem though. I went for a run this morning and only managed half a mile before the dodgy knee (which had been almost ok on Sunday whilst running) started to hurt so I turned around and went back home. More sensiblility!!
I have made an appointment to see the fizz in the morning, I thought it best not to leave it too long.
Its a strange sort of feeling, under the kneecap, around the bottom of the knee and occasionally at the outside in the hollow bit. It feels like a pressure inside as if something is being pressed or pinched and it can settle completely then come back suddenly with a pop feeling inside if I lean on that knee or twist it. I am sure that moving the lawnmower around has done this and is not a running injury but as it is now affecting my running it will have to be sorted out. I can't have that!

I feel sure your backroom staff will have you fit & raring to go for the next race. You must be pleased to have bagged a PB at Windsor after all the hassle you've had to put up with.
